Core Local Processing Features
All processing runs directly in your browser via Canvas, WebWorkers, WebAssembly and WebGPU. Your images are never sent to any external server, and zero data has ever been sent to the project's servers. You can disconnect from the internet after the initial page load and every tool will still work fully.
You can drop individual images, entire folders, or ZIP archives directly into the tool. It supports up to 200+ images processed in a single batch, with no upload wait time. Supported input formats include JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF, and SVG.
Unlike most online image tools that force you to download and re-upload files between processing steps, BulkPicTools lets you chain multiple operations in one session. For example you can select 200 iPhone HEIC photos, convert them all to JPG, compress each to under 1MB, crop every one to a 1 square ratio, then download the entire processed batch as a single ZIP file. This workflow does not require any intermediate file handling between steps.

Compression tools: Dedicated preset tools to compress images to exact target sizes including 20KB, 50KB, 100KB, 200KB, 500KB, 1MB, and 2MB to meet strict upload limits for government portals, email forms, resumes, and web publishing.
Format converters: Batch convert between all common formats including HEIC, AVIF, WebP, PNG, JPG, SVG, BMP, ICO, with dedicated tools like bulk HEIC to JPG processing for iPhone photo libraries.
Crop tools: Bulk image cropper, passport and ID photo cropper for 30+ country biometric specs, 2x2 US visa/ passport cropper, and circle profile picture cropper.
GIF tools: Full suite of 24+ GIF utilities including compression, cropping, frame extraction, speed adjustment, reverse, text adding, and converting between GIF and video/ image formats, with no watermarks.
Edit tools: Merge images, split images for 9-grid Instagram posts, add rounded corners, add overlay layers, blur faces, blur screenshots, pixelate content, and apply glitch effects.
Resize tools: Bulk resize images, with dedicated optimized presets for Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and 1280x720 YouTube thumbnails.
EXIF tools: View, edit, or strip location metadata from images, check image DPI, and convert DPI for print lab requirements.
Adjustment tools: Bulk adjust brightness, contrast, convert to grayscale, and invert colors across an entire batch of images.
Local AI Capabilities
All AI models run on your local CPU or GPU, no external API keys required, no data sent to the cloud. Available AI tools include batch background remover for product photos, 2x to 4x AI image upscaler, automatic face blur with detection, watermark remover, object remover, and AI image to HD converter. Additional AI features including photo denoise, auto sharpen, and auto photo classification are in active development.
Scenario Guided Workflows
BulkPicTools includes pre-built end-to-end scenario pages that combine multiple tools for specific common tasks, so users do not need to figure out the correct processing order manually. Available workflows include the passport photo workflow that automatically crops and compresses images to meet official biometric requirements. Upcoming planned scenario pages include full app icon export for all mobile and web platforms, e-commerce batch editing for Shopify/ Amazon product listings, and one-click resizing for all major social media platform aspect ratios.

The optional free BulkPicBridge Chrome extension lets you send any public image directly from any web page to BulkPicTools for local processing with a single click, no manual download required.
