Supported Use Cases
Any public YouTube video spoken in one of Parlune's 30+ supported languages can be turned into a language lesson. This includes vlogs, podcasts, interviews, news segments, documentaries, recipe videos, and other content that the learner already enjoys watching.
The platform works best for videos with clear, single-speaker audio. Content with heavy background music, multiple overlapping speakers, or pre-made dual-language learning formats will have less accurate transcription segmentation. Learners are recommended to select content at or slightly above their current comprehension level, so they can follow the general gist while encountering new vocabulary naturally.
Unsupported YouTube videos include private, age-restricted, members-only, and region-blocked content, which cannot be processed on the platform.
